Sound Problems when plugging in a headset
« on: Wednesday, February 13, 2013, 06:49:44 AM »
Good Afternoon one and all,

Not sure if anyone has come across this problem none of the queries seemed to match or help me.
I have a Acer Timeline M3 and love AA2.

I have a really weird problem when playing the game on my laptop with the build in speakers the game runs fine.
However when i plug in speakers or my headset i get nothing.... I have updated my sound drivers and double checked that all the output levels are maxed out but still have the same problem every time.

Changing the in game audio doesn't seem to help either whether on Direct sound, Hardware + 3D or Hardware + E
still nothing... on board works fine but plug anything in and silence.

I would like to thank you all in advance i will be playing AA3.3 at night until i can solve this problem or my wifes gonna kick my  :censored: if i wake the kids with AA2.5, LOL

strange.
looks like a defective port or headset cable.
just try it on another laptop. if that works, you know it's not the headset.
then must be connector of laptop or software config.

The headset and port work fine on all my other programs and games even steam AA3... Just AA 25 assist that doesn't work.
