Title: Snipers
Post by: SASF-DarkShooter on Sunday, January 22, 2012, 13:53:30 PM
Since the normal authorization is off and with the introduction of the 2.5 Assist Authorization, the trainings mean nothing. That is not too bad, the only downside I have experienced so far is the sniping, since the stability of your sniper is now not extra-accurate as it was if you had completed the trainings. Because for the experienced sniper users it's not a big problem, but I can imagine that it might be for newer players .Is there any chance is the future of trainings also being integrated into the authorization system?  Or is that just impossible to do?

Doing training changed how the weapons functioned? I didn't notice any difference tbh.

I was under the impression that if you unlocked the training, you unlocked the weapon. I don't believe there's an accuracy unlock.

This is what I have thought too. Never heard of accuracy change either, but I hope someone could tell that 100% sure.

both of u are right.
if u where not qualified for the marksmen slot you where issued an m16 on deployment, how ever if ingame u picked up either of the marksman rifles your scope sway had a hefty bonus amount added to it (being unqualified)

That makes sense, cuz, what do you do with a dropped weapon. I would be curious to look at the code though.

Well in that case, since people can spawn with a sniper, I consider accuracy case closed :D
