Since a little time there's a bug on dockside. You don't need breachers anymore to open the doors ... makes the gameplay kinda weird
-
I don't even... How did this happen?
I recently edited Dockside but I didn't touch the doors, just added a playerblock on the roof. Did anyone else change it?

Not me.

Should I copy the original map to the dropbox?

Na, it's an easy fix. Just wondering how it happened. lol
I'll fix it and add some more spawns (per request) and throw it on dropbox.

it was like that since a week or more. not all doors and not from every side.

All doors, for everyone

Jeez Killa, you're breaking the game!

So... this is interesting. I took the original Dockside file Eliz put on dropbox, threw it into my Assist maps folder and played and the doors worked.
However, I took the same map file, and opened it in the editor and doors don't work, everyone can open them. So what I'm thinking is that our editor cannot do the breachable doors like that. This was never a problem because we never edited Dockside, but when I added a playerblock we lost that functionality because the editor doesn't have it.
However, there is probably a way around this making the doors just one way movers open-able from only the inside.

Is there a setting on the mover that decides that it's breachable?
Isn't there something breachable on that Bridge Construction map?

Breachable doors isn't the problem. The editor can do breachable doors, I used them on City Block. The problem is that the function that limits who can open the door is missing. Normally on Dockside you can only open the door from the inside, but there is no such limiting option in our editor, so it defaults to where it opens from both sides.
I thought I could solve this by simply making the doors one way movers only openable from the inside. However this messed with the decomeshes and the destroyed doors still blocks the path. I'm assuming the deco mesh is supposed to appear on the next mover step and since the door isn't openable from the otuside and thus doesn't have a mover step there it just stays at 0 and blocks the doorway. I don't see an option to control where the decomesh appears. I'll keep messing around with it and seem if I can figure something out but our only option might be to just restore the original 2.5 version.

I see, what class is those doors?

hey Killa, thank you very much for the work you are doing!!
and no problem with that doors :) easy

I've replaced the online version with the older one, where doors should work as before.

When I get some time, I'm going to take a look at this. I've never seen a door that can't be edited in our editor.
