Assist Server Issue
« on: Wednesday, December 26, 2012, 17:05:36 PM »
For the first time on this install I went to the server tab, it downloaded all the goodies then I went to the settings. That screen took forever to come up, each of the boxes came up one at a time. Probably took a good 5-10 seconds for the whole screen to show up. Checking of the boxes was laggy as well. Then I checked and unchecked Disable mAAp TeamView and it crashed:

I've been unable to replicate.
Was it a one time deal, or is it still doing it?

Did it crash when you unchecked it, or when you pressed OK?

Your OS?

It crashed when I unchecked it. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit

Now... I realize what might have happened. I re-opened to check it out and it re-downloaded the server config files. When the settings screen comes up, stuff is already filled in and PB protection, DG protection and PB screenshots are checked. When it first came up, everything was blank and nothing was checked.

I thought it was odd that I could check & uncheck mAAp TeamView without having to check/uncheck Free Play Mode. I'm thinking the server configs failed to download or extract and then Assist couldn't load the rules or default values for the options page. That's just a guess though.

This same thing just happened again on the beta 7.19. Clicked on the server tab, it downloaded a file and then gave me the NilObjectException crash.
