One of my guys started watching him (high k/d) and caught this. Glitch hitting the wrong button pulling grenade pin or aimbot mechanics? Primary weapon firing as Opfor crossed his path from pipeline north.

It often happened unintentionally.

That happened in 2.8.5 when you tried to fast-swap to a grenade by starting running for a sec or something like that, then as soon as you tried to though the grenade (fire button), you would also start firing (it would only work on full auto if I remember correctly).

But I'm pretty sure that bug doesn't work on 2.5.

I think I recently experienced it, too. It's got something to do with a gun you've just picked up. I picked up a gun, dropped my own, took out a nade, started throwing it and even though I didn't hear the gun on my back fire, I saw the bullet holes on the wall and the gun was empty afterwards.
