Windows 8.1 brightness, gamma and contrast problem
« on: Friday, February 07, 2014, 19:12:59 PM »
Hey guys,

i got a new notebook with windows 8.1 64bit and i cannot change my brightness, gamma and contrast ingame now..

Is there any possibility to change these video settings ingame?

best regards jabba
I have no idea why you think that this is no recoil. Already I'm talking to you. I have a very good computer with permanent 90 fps. Specially made for America's Army.

For windows 8.1 settings like gamma/brightness and game settings doesn't work because it doesn't save and it is not supportive yet.You're not the only one to have this problem, I have the same one etc and no idea on the current issue resolve.

Strange behavior indeed.
Changing the built in gamma in wind8.1 don't work either

I've tried all the things that could be found using google, nothing helped.
Unless you can find the solution yourself, you will have to live with the default setting.
Perhaps your screen itself has some settings.

The solution is pretty easy;
Calibrate your monitor (use Calibrize with your monitors built-in settings) and then play AA as it was intended.
It's like shaving your pubes to make your junk look bigger.
Might look bigger, but it aint.....
