Title: can't download anything thru the client

I can't get AA installed because all downloads are being reported as failed

the animations.7z file that it first downloads says the download failed. but it's sitting in the 25Assist folder and extracts just fine with 7zip. if I relaunch and tell it to resume it fails right away.

If I download AA 2.5 in advance and point it to that directly, the texture updates and PB updates all fail. any ideas whats going? I am running as admin

The assist download part is really full of bugs, but it's on low priority list of assist developers (i.e. Eliz).

go to your %appdata% folder and delete assist there completely.
then do the new installation. if this do fail. try this link.
you will install 8.12 which does work for sure, then it will update automatic.
