Title: Account Activation Please
Post by: RiseX on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, 15:09:53 PM
Hey there.
I understand that you don't allow people to have multiple accounts. In this case I (we) created a second account because there are two different people playing on the same computer.
Admins, can you help please?
Thanks in advance.

There is no way for us to check who's playing so if we see a 2nd account being activated from a PC, we will reject that activation.

I'm sorry, but that's just our policy for a number of reasons.

Ok, thank you for your response.
Is it possible to delete the old account and then start with a new one?

And: is it necessary to have a battle tracker account to play aao25?

Which accounts are you talking about exactly?
The only account I can see right now is this one and it's hardly an old account:
http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/869595/ (http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/869595/)

And yes, you need a battletracker account to play the game.
It's the case because the US Army dropped official support for the game in late 2011 and we now use battletracker accounts for user authentication.

Yes that is exactly the account we would like to be deleted.

The one we both like to play with is:
http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/869977/ (http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/869977/)

Could you make it possible that we can use the fresh one?

I appreciate your help.

I don't see why. You have access to the existing account.

Well, perhaps I have not made myself sufficiently clear.
The problem is not that I cannot access the aao25 or bt account - I can access them both.
I simply would like to start over honor/frag/etc-wise with battle tracker, since we are two people playing on the same computer and it is not possible to have two accounts on one pc.
Is it possible to connect a new, fresh, BT account to my existing AAO25 account or can i reset the BT account anywhere myself?

There is no "resetting".

If you have your own personal computer, you can create an account there and play on whichever computer you wish afterwords.
However, if one of you gets banned it's bad new for both of you.

AAO25==BT Account.

The only way differentiate between 2 accounts is their BT ID number.
