Try uncheck "Reduce Mouse Lag" in the AA settings.

hope that this will not happen often. I guess about 3 times so far as I did count without mistake. it is because I did ask for enabling the "reduce mouse lag" which is done now. and this can cause the system to react like it did. I hope we can stay with it on activated ;)
