someone with admin right who shouldn't have?

Hi everyone!

First of all thank you so much for keeping this fucking amazing game going!!!

I will make my second donation in the new year!

The bob^s recently purchased a server with Vortex, and a user called [PTwars]b!6 joined the server.

For some reason, next to his name in the chat box it says [admin].

He said it happens in all servers. His battletracker look legit and he seems like a nice guy which is why i'm confused!

Any advice?

He is part of the assist administration; its Sergio.

Bollie is correct.

He's been an admin for this project for as long as I can remember :)

Since we administrate the game, we reserve the right to log in as administrator on any server if we wish.

It's more surprising to me that he's playing, to be honest :) He rarely plays AA2 nowadays. Usually he's on AAPG I believe.

He is the head admin assist together with ELiZ, his account is the only account which has global assist admins right, so that's why it shows admin in the chat, next to his name however, you should see another icon, which shows that he is not a "server admin" but a "DEV admin".

Is this correct?

It should be that way.
However, I don't know how it works exactly and the "Server Admin" icon could be overwriting the other one (it does that with the regular "Dev" icon).

The server only shows one icon and sergios icon must of been server admin icon not the dev one

You are correct.
Yet one might have many icons (such as the one for 100+honor, donor icon and so on), the question is, which one is on the top.
The server admin seems to be on top of most all things, but since I don't use the dev admin feature, I don't know if it would be on top of that as well.

To test, I just gave myself the global assist admin rights, this is the icon you see for that:


So, green icon is global assist admin, and will give admin in chat as well.
Red icon is assist normal admin

Yeah there is an icon for assist admins to use to get server admin on any server. However, it's never supposed to be used. I don't like that Sergio is using it. Nobody else does.
