As I said previously my game runs fine and everything is ok except that after about 5-10 minutes of gameplay the client freezes, my computer freezes and my modem freezes with all the indicator lights on.

My only choice then is to manually reconnect the modem and restart my computer.
As Eliz pointed out for some reason my MAC shows 000000000000, possibly due to vmware installed on my machine.

I will add that other online games that use my connection do not cause this (such as combat arms), the freezing does not happen when armyops is in offline mode (start X ; X= map name).

Leads to think that PB is causing some interference with my machine.. I would add logs and screenshots but there are no logs left after the freezes and I can't take a screen since the computer is completely frozen.

What are you system specs, perhaps if you list them someone can provide an idea..

Reason for testing E&E was to test 25Assist+AA, since it was a training mission, there was no network traffic.

Is you modem directly connected to you PC(USB) or do you have a proper network with either built in router in the modem or a standalone router with some switch ports?

Other possible location where you could find the issue, either in the modem log if you have access to it, or in Windows System Log.

It's a USB adsl modem, quite old, from 2003.
I would try to re install it but I have a newdev.dll error so I can't uninstall or install it without either repairing or removing the entire windows copy.

I do not see anything related to the modem or gsicon or adsl in the source list in the event viewer.
The modem doesn't store logs as far as I know, and if it does I don't know where they are.. can conduct a search but they might be under a different name or under a binary or hex number..

I have one warning in applications around the freeze time, it reads the following:

and 6 errors in system logs about a minute before that warning:

is any of these helpful to figuring out the situation?

WIndows XP professional SP3 build 2600
Intel i3-4130 3.4 gigs
4 gigs ddr3
geforce 440 gt 1gb
drivers are updated except the gfx driver, it's about 2 months old but I doubt it makes a big difference since the 440 isn't the target of newer drivers.. it's just included in the list.

any other information should be included? let me know.

Hi little interupt This computer can handle easy  windows 7 ore 8  way XP a OS that is not supported by Windows enniemore.

It seems as if I have solved this issue, just ran 2 and a half rounds and total of around 8-9 minutes on hospital on an empty server, no freezing.

I backed up and then deleted the dr. watson registry key, seems to have solved this issue.

Still there.. still the same one even after deleting dr. watson reg key....
any ideas? eliz?

I remember some old DSL modems had both USB and ethernet connections. If yours is like that, switch to the ethernet.

Technology dies. Granted, older stuff was built better but I see routers & modems die in 2-3 years, many times less.
