Title: Another user logged on with my account?
Post by: Showtime on Wednesday, April 09, 2025, 14:49:46 PM
Hello,

Today Wednesday, 9th April at around 20:30 (GMT+2) i opened 25Assist launcher and i could not log in because i got an error that "Another user is logged on". I sadly didn't take screenshot. I re-opened assist and same again. After about 3-5 minutes of doing this while also changing my password, i logged on.

Is that any logs that you guys can check if my account was logged in elsewhere?
It might have been just an error, because i had those before when Assist crashed or similar, but still.

Best regards,
Show

Usually this indicates that the authentication server has a log in session with your account that hasn't been terminated yet.
As you suggested, this will normally happen if the Assist cleint crashes or something else goes wrong such that the authentication server wasn't told of the ending of the session (i.e loss of an interent connection could be another cuplrit).

The sessions are timed out after a certain time (don't know off the top of my head, but minutes rather than hours). And after that you should be fine to log in again on the account.

Now, if this happened hours from when you didn't have a 25Assist client open any time in the immediate past, it would indeed be a more concerning situation. However, we do track some login information on a per account basis - and like Bart said above, your account didn't have any logins from anywhere other than your computer/IP.

It happened after i turned PC on and launched assist client, surprisingly. Weird but  got to stay positive it was just a bug or something since only IP used is from this house.

Thanks for reply.
