So I recently downloaded the game from AA025 assist and got my account activated.
I played the trainings without problems.
Now I'd would like to join a server and play with other people (ofc).
Game runs fine and without problems until it freezes, goes black and then about in 1-3 seconds game comes back and it's completely fine.
This keeps happening very often and again, again, again and again. It didn't happen in training but when I joined a server.
What could cause this problem?
I got windows 7 Professional 64bit.
I have i3 processor and Radeon HD 7700 series graphics card.
No, I haven't had problems like this with other games.
I have tried like 4 maps and same issues.
I started SF Hospital in offline but it doesn't let me move or aim, only shoot... But it doesn't blink.
I'm getting stable 60 fps.

Once you go black there's no going back..
When your screen goes black, do you press any key to get game working again or does it come back alive by itself? Im just wondering can this black freeze be some alert message that just fails to pop out.

Have you checked fullscreen box in assist settings > video? If not, you should give it a try, because at least for me there comes a certain error if it just looks like full screen, but isnt. And if some error doesnt throw me out of the game, it can act like that.

If you still wish to try offline, you can use "class sf" to start yourself off.

I don't need to press anything it just comes back itself.
I have checked the fullscreen mode box.
I tried offline again and it seemed to work fine until i shot and then it went black came back and immediately blacked again and it repeated this until I shut the game down. After the game was shut windows notified me that my graphics card stopped responding and came back. (You don't say huh?)

So the issue is most probably your graphics driver then.
Are you running the latest drivers?
If no, then try the latest drivers.
If yes (or problem with the latest as well), you might have better luck with some older ones, but I've no clew as to which in particular.

Hmm. You should maybe uninstall your gfx driver and as Teddy said, install newest (or try older ones if that doesnt work)

I had this exact issue on a different game, in my case I believe the card was malfunctioning, as the issue started to happen really often after a while, along with bsods. She was a venerable Ati 5850. :'(

Actually what comes in drivers,
When I first played this game and got the issue I had the older ones.
Now before yesterdays tries I installed the new ones.

I did hear today that windows 10 is working under directX 12 if you juse a older grafhic card under windows 10 it can gif you some issues so try to get informed if this. and meaby change the 12 to your older version .

Did I understand correctly that you've tried with 2 different drivers and the result has been the same?
You said you haven't had the problem in other games in the past. Have you successfully (i.e without such problems) played other games while this has been going on with AA? If it were a hardware issue as Koden describes, it should affect most (if not all) games similarly.

If you google and look for game frees than this guy did had a solution from one other guy . i did tracelate it from dutch to english so you have to look trow the lines : >>>>>>
It's after two hours of play not jammed and meanwhile I also received a message from EA advisor live chat.
He said the freezes (crash) have to do with my internet ports. First I have to make a profile for fifa in AMD Catalyst Control, and then I put special TDP ports for Fifa in the firewall and reset internet explorer because Origin takes advantage.
Do not know what to do with my Internet, with the crash of FIFA, but apparently this will be the solution. He also broke the conversation when I asked for the answer: "I'm sorry but I already solved your problem and I'm not here to answer complicated technical questions." Thereafter the usual final goodbye and that was the call.
Ore try not to overheat your prosessor ther are programs for to find out!

The fact is, internet connection and ports have nothing to do with your graphics card...

What about your graphical settings in game then? If you loosen them into their minimal, are you still suffering from same issue? What if your graphic card is just dusty and can't breath :) Do you have two displays, are you able to open some activity monitor on one display so you could see what there is happening while the freeze appears?

Yes, I have tried this with 2 different drivers.
I don't think I'v had this issue with other games just now with AA.
Just to remind! I have just played the training and only tried online because this issue.

I first time used minimal setting just to be sure it runs perfectly and tried other too when I noticed this issue.
And if it was dusty I think it would act the same way in other games like cs:go, civilization...

Okay so it shouldn't be hardware- or driver issue either. Have you tried reinstall? Removing game compeletely and installing it again from new installer to its default location has solved many issues, might sound ridiculous but if it's somehow game related thing then it might work.
Edit. Reinstall might be worth of trying but I actually doubt if it helps :) since you have two displays, open that system diagnostics to other display and check how much running processes are eating performance at your computer and what happens there on your active processes when your main display goes black, or does your other display do the same? And because other games work with no issues I doubt if it's hw / driver issue

Check Radeon AMD Settings (Gaming > Global Settings), if you're forcing Anti-Aliasing and/or Anisotropic Filtering, leave both as "Use application settings", in case you want your global settings untouched, create a profile for AA2, browse to "25Assist\ArmyOps\System\ArmyOps.exe" location.

Where does Assist store the game system files and all its data?

And now started to do it until I realized that someway windows doesn't know the AAO is "installed" on your computer because I couldn't find Assist or AAO on my Control Panel -> Programs list.
Well, deleted all files and folders it had created and downloaded it again and "installed".
No difference to the issue. (I would have hoped it had been so easy.)
Checked my performance and the blinking doesn't really affect it...
Also the other display also blinks.

okay, game wont make your both displays blink so then I'd point my finger again at your hw, - their system settings or drivers :)

I would say that its definately hw/driver issue, but as you have tried different drivers, it seems it could be hw related.
Download some program to monitor your temperatures, hardware monitor or speedfan and check it out when you get that black screen by alt+tabbing if you can do that.
Yes, you wrote it doesnt happen with other games. It still can be overheating etc. Even while it happens with just one game.
I googled for this and seems that many people have had this kind of issue with just certain game and most of those topics include the suspicion for overheating (in answers.)

So I downloaded Open Hardware Monitor.
It seems that temperature isn't the problem.
These are what I got:
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Clocks
-GPU Core 850 MHz
-GPU Memory 800 MHz (as it always is...)
Temperatures
-GPU Core 40 celcius
Fans
-GPU Fan 2890 rpm (or something close to that)
You need some other values I didn't mention? Just ask.

You got those values while playing americas army or while your computer was "resting"? You should check it when playing aa online.

But I don't think that is the problem.

Sometimes ram installations can cause random instability if installed to wrong channels. Sometimes everything else works but something random happens. Sometimes rams can be incompatible with each other. I mostly buy totally identical rams to prevent incompatibility, but it wouldnt be needed to be so strict.
Hows your set? How many ram slots do you have? How many units?
If for example you have 4 ram slots, you have most probably two channels. If you have two pieces of ram, they can be installed wrongly. Often the slots/channels are in this order: a1 b1 a2 b2. Two rams should be in a1 and a2. Sometimes even color codes arent standard. Checking the mobo manual helps in that :)

So I got 4 slots, 2 ram sticks they are identical and they aren't next to each other.
As you said a1, b1, a2, b2, my 2 sticks are in a1 and a2. :)

Ok, good :) this was just a part of troubleshooting, because those ram things can cause weird issues.
Oh btw, is it long time ago you installed those rams? You should try to remove those rams, blow possible dust away from sockets or how you call them in english and put them back.
Also before that you could do some memory test which puts some load on them and seeks for memory errors.

Check your system files by running the SFC scan (sfc / scannow) - it Must Be Run as administrator from a .bat file.

At this point I'd rather test the gpu for a while with furmark or another gpu-intensive benchmark to clear out gpu hardware issues...

With some memory things it can be just any random error and doesnt necessarily come up in everything.
But yeah, gfx testing could be good also.
Troubleshooting is anyway closing out things to find the problem.

Downloaded furmark and ran it without anti-aliasing.
Max temperature was 51 celcius :up: and got like 8fps average :down:
But hey, no blinking etc. :up:

8fps and 51 Celsius? Both values seem low to me (but i'm guessing you benchmarked at 1920x1080). Is that the 7770 or the 7750? How long did you let furmark running?

Yeah at 1920x1080.
I don't know is it 7770 or 7750, only that it's HD 7700 series.
I let it run almost 30 minutes.
