SFSnakePlain & Extradition (Again)
« on: Monday, April 13, 2015, 08:05:30 AM »
I created this topic to share the idea that they should put in the Assist  the maps SFSnakePlain and Extradition.

Extradition - you mean Interdiction or Extraction? - both are loaded and a part of aa25 already

The problem is, that this version of AA does not have a working AI (which is a key part of SF Snakeplain and Interdiction), not yet at least.

The problem with Snakeplain is that it also had vehicles and javelins, which are not in this version of the game either.

There is already a thread about AI, though:

So ELiZ is working on it, but as you can read there, there are no guarantees yet.

It's easy to do if you have a paid dev team with access to the source code. We have neither.

Might look bigger, but it aint.....

Money doesn't really changes the skills does it? I mean even if you were paid you'd have a hard time doing it without the source code I think

Well, if we had a payed team, anything would be easier, even getting the code of the game. "Hacking" is costly, yet possible.
