- Reason: Caught by antipoke. (tried no-recoil)

So, last year I made a big mistake. I was tired of the game and didn't really care anymore, so I tried out a no-recoil hack and immediately got caught. You guys have to know that I actually didn't use anything, besides a TRY on norecoil.Yes, very dumb and I regret this decision. I see that the game is still alive, with a little players, but I actually want to play again if there's a possibility and hopefully you all accept my apology.

I do not see any mistake we made in this ban. The fact that you only tried it doesn't make it worse. What if it did work and you didn't get caught? Would you then stop trying it? Why did you try using it in the first place? Being bored is a bad excuse. If I get bored I stop playing, I'm not going to ruin the fun from others, that's just selfish to a next level.

Seeing from the time you played, you really went for your fragrate (waiting with 18c in escort building for cheap kills etc), I do not think you wouldn't use it if you got the chance and you wouldn't have been caught. But that's a personal note, that has nothing to do with the ban or the appeal. I just want to mention that I am not convinced you would only use it once.

Please try to convince me WHY we should unban you.

I don't know if I would use it or not, as I mentioned it was a mistake and I regret that stupid decision. Telling me that I only go for fragrate by camping or whatever, which is not true imo, has indeed nothing to do with this topic. At the end i'm an active player (aswell for teamspeak, you should know that), I try to be as kind as possible, which obviously didn't always happen (everyone has moodswings). I will try to help the community grow and whatever decision you admins make to unban or not to unban is up to you and I will have to accept that.

Obviously, you are right about this. I shouldn't have said that.

However, I am not convinced why we should unban you after trying the no-recoil. If we go on giving everybody a 2nd chance, we might as well just clear the banlist of all bans since 1 year ago.
I am not sure if that is what we want.

Wouldn't be fair . Besides thought assist had a strict policy on getting caught once and that's it???

I've actually seen several unbans in the past, don't know if they changed it

Week long bans are for other offenses, usually TKs or extremely foul language, but sometimes also for AHK.

And like Bart said, I don't really see a valid reason to remove this ban. You tried to use a cheat and the only reason you didn't was because you got caught before you were able to.

As I said I don't know if I would continue using it or not. Also I regret that decision, it was a dumb mistake. Just saying this game is still alive, but with alot less people online then last year. If you unban me, you can keep your eyes on me and whenever anything happens you can ban my ass right away. But that's up to you if you want to keep me banned or you want to unban me. Obviously I understand that it might not be fair looking to the other banned players, but thats why I made this topic

To be honest, I could do that again. But the thing is that it ruins my fun, I cannot go on teamspeak or anything without getting recognised which results in a ban obviously. Another reason for opening this topic
