Can't reduce mouse lag
« on: Sunday, April 10, 2016, 04:36:15 AM »
Setting it from in-game options crashes the game, and setting it from armyops.ini doesn't work as it writes it back to False.

How to disable it? Mouse feels floaty without it.

E: Or the floaty mouse is because the game is not in traditional fullscreen mode even when it's selected, because I can't see no tearing, which means it should be in bordlerless.

When my game is running windowed, I reboot and run as administator. Perhaps that works. ?

Reduce mouse lag can cause certain errors so Assist forces you not to use it.

25Assist > Settings > Tick "Fullscreen Mode". Write there your display resolution if necessary.

Yes, I have it ticked, but see no tearing, there should be tearing without vsync in fullscreen mode.

Reduce mouse lag can cause certain errors so Assist forces you not to use it.
What errors, never had any problems with it?

Also, why are brightness/gamma/contrast settings disabled?

And why can't I even change netspeed to 10001 to enable additional FPS to reduce mouse lag? Or save my CONTROLS? Everything is disabled in this assist thing...

D3Ddevicelost errors

If birghtness, gamma and contrast are grayed out, you might need to toggle Windows 8 Gamma (provided you have Win8 or 10).

As for your settings not saving, they're not fixed by Assist.
However, I have seen other people having trouble saving their settings as well. You might benefit from trying to run Assist as admin.

I've had  the same problem myself without a solution (haven't really looked for one). Don't know what causes it at the moment.

What about not being able to change netspeed? It would help for mouse lag to have 200fps instead of 85.

And if Assist rewrites the .ini's (including my controls) to default on every startup, how is it not fixed by Assist?

Because it's not a general issue. Assist isn't meant to (and I'm not sure it does, it might be the game doing it) overwrite the files. It doesn't do that for most users.

You need to understand this project is handled by volunteers and thus not every bug gets addressed immediately.

I'm afraid I don't have a better answer for you at this moment.
