Armyops disc read
« on: Saturday, April 05, 2014, 19:21:56 PM »
I didnt have this problem until earlier today. But it seems everytime i join into a server i get a pop up half way into the game that says my "Armyops disc" is not inserted and i need to keep pushing "Try again" for it to go away. Has anyone had this problem before and how do i fix it?

Thank you

Try throwing a disc in your disk drive, blank or not, and see if it goes away.

I did this and it worked for couple of days and now it's back... do you have a permanent solution?

That solution might work as a last resort.

But turning off error messages completely?

Yea, turning off the messages isn't a good solution. Do you still get the message after restarting? Perhaps disconnect any thumb drives, card readers or external drives you have plugged in.

Suppressing message will not remove it completely, it just respond automatically with OK wen the message pops up.

UE by default should keep CD path info in the game .ini - something like 'CdPath' and/or 'ContentOnCD'. Try to leave CdPath empty or point to the game instalation directory and/or set ContentOnCD to false.

Second: In later versions of Windows (7 and above), UAC can deny access to the files/directories - so, run app with administrator rights or disable UAC (not recommended).

Ok I do realize maybe shutting down all error messages was too much, but it worked as a last option. I just didnt find any other things to do untill now.

I run the program as admin and in theory it also works, played for over 20 min now and havent received any error message ;)
Thank you all.
